Local artist Paul Gill.

The children in year 1 were very excited this afternoon as a local artist Paul Gill came to visit and share his art with us. He talked to the children about how and when he became an artist. He show cased his art work which he displays in a gallery in Stockport. He answered lots of interesting questions from the children. Paul then modelled his technique and talked them through his designs. The children then had a go at creating their own masterpieces, we had some wonderful intricate creations, I felt very proud.

Plants, flowers and trees!

We are learning about plants, flowers, deciduous and ever green trees. We went for a walk and the children collected various plants and stuck them on their cellotape bracelets. We discussed different trees and their leaves. We came back to class and wrote about what we had found and learnt. We had lots of fun.

Take one picture – The Holy Trinity

The children in 1K loved showcasing their art work. They drew their own symbols to represent the Holy Trinity and then created their own mosaics. They all worked hard and used their imaginations and added their own creative flair. They  had lots of fun spending quality time with you on the day and completing art activities with their parents. Thank you to all those that attended.
